It fabricates designed posts (image + motion video), writes platform-specific captions for every network, and publishes everything to your connected accounts automatically. No daily input required.

How do I get started?

Sign up, go to the Identity page, fill in your brand details, pick a persona, and Hit Generate Plan. The engine builds your weekly vibe calendar and starts queuing posts within minutes. Most users have their first posts ready in under 15 minutes.

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

The brand identity form takes roughly 5 minutes. Connecting social accounts takes a few minutes per platform. After that the engine runs indefinitely without any further input from you.

Do I need design or copywriting skills?

Accepted Answer

None whatsoever. The engine designs every image, renders every video, and writes every caption. It adapts the copy per platform: LinkedIn gets thought-leadership tone, TikTok gets Gen-Z energy, Reddit gets community framing. You never touch a design tool or write a single word unless you want to.

What does the Free plan include?

The Free plan lets the engine generate 3 posts over 3 days so you can see the full output quality firsthand designed image, SleepyMotion video, and captions for all 12 platforms. You also get 3 manual posts per month via the Create page. Social accounts can't be connected on Free, so you copy the content and publish it yourself.

What's the difference between Basic and Standard?

Basic ($29/month) auto-publishes 1–3 engine posts per day across all 12 platforms and includes 3 manual posts per day. Standard ($179/month) raises the engine to 5–8 posts per day, unlocks AI Videos and Mix mode alongside SleepyMotion, bumps manual posts to 8 per day, and includes priority support.

What is the Enterprise plan?

Enterprise is a custom plan for agencies and multi-brand operations. It includes 10–15 engine posts per day, unlimited manual posts, custom engine tuning per brand, multiple brands and accounts under one dashboard, and dedicated support and onboarding. Contact sales to discuss pricing.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

Accepted Answer

No contract. Plans are billed monthly and you can cancel at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. There are no refunds for unused days see our Terms for the full refund policy.

Which social media platforms does SleepyPost support?

Accepted Answer

SleepyPost supports 12 platforms: Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Bluesky, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Tumblr, and Mastodon. All 12 are available starting from the Basic plan. On Free you can see the captions for every platform but publish manually.

What's the difference between Full Auto and Semi-Auto publishing?

Full Auto publishes posts without you doing anything the engine builds each post and sends it live at the scheduled slot. Semi-Auto puts posts in your Pending queue first; you review the image, video, and captions, then click Publish. Both modes are available on all paid plans.

Can I review posts before they go live?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Switch to Semi-Auto mode and every post lands in your Pending queue before it publishes. You can preview the image and video, read all platform captions, download the assets, or manually trigger publishing. You can also cancel any post from the queue.

Question 12

What is the 'target country' setting and why does it matter?

Accepted Answer

The target country tells the engine which audience to optimize for. It affects two things: posting times (the engine schedules slots during peak engagement hours for that country's timezone) and the cultural framing of captions. You set it once during brand identity setup and it applies to every post the engine generates.

What happens if a post fails to publish on a platform?

Accepted Answer

Failed posts are flagged in your dashboard. The engine continues running for other platforms and future slots a single failed connection doesn't pause everything else. You can retry the post manually from the Pending page.

What are the three content modes?

Accepted Answer

Auto mode generates everything from scratch the engine invents post concepts, designs the image, and creates the video. Product Images mode builds posts around your own product photos so the output features your actual products. Premade Posts mode lets you upload finished media (your own images or video files) and the engine schedules and publishes them with AI-written captions. All three modes are available on every plan.

What is a SleepyMotion video?

SleepyMotion is SleepyPost's motion graphics video format branded short-form videos with animated text, transitions, synced voiceover, and music, all generated from scratch per post. They're optimized for vertical formats like Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. SleepyMotion is included on every plan including Free.

What are AI Videos and which plans include them?

AI Videos are fully Engine-generated video clips visually distinct from SleepyMotion motion graphics. They're available on Standard and above. Standard also includes Mix mode, which alternates between SleepyMotion and AI Videos automatically to add variety across your feed.

Can I use my own photos or videos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Product Images mode lets you upload your own product photos and the engine builds posts around them. Premade Posts mode lets you supply finished media files images or videos which the engine schedules and publishes with generated captions. Both modes are available on all plans.

What is the Vibe Calendar?

The Vibe Calendar is the engine's weekly posting plan. It decides when to post and what emotional direction each slot should aim for informative, aspirational, community-focused, playful, behind-the-scenes, and more. You can view the full calendar in the dashboard. You don't manage it; the engine builds it fresh each week and executes it automatically.

Can I edit captions or re-generate a video?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From the Pending page you can view and copy captions for any platform. If a post has a SleepyMotion video, the Edit & Retry button lets you tweak the script, voice, vibe, and duration, then regenerate the video. The number of retries available depends on your plan.

Question 20

How many posts can the engine produce per day?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your plan. Basic: 1–3 engine posts per day. Standard: 5–8 per day. Enterprise: 10–15 per day. On platforms that support both image and video (like Instagram and TikTok), each slot produces two assets, so the real output is higher than the post count alone.

Do engine posts and manual posts share the same daily limit?

Yes your daily cap is the total across both. On Standard the cap is 8. If the engine publishes 6 posts that day, you can add 2 more manual posts. You can't stack manual posts on top of engine output to exceed the cap. This protects your accounts from platform enforcement actions caused by excessive posting volume.

What counts as a 'manual post'?

Any post you create yourself via the Create page whether you upload your own media or use the engine to generate it on demand. Manual posts are useful when you want to publish something specific that's outside the engine's regular weekly plan.

Can I run multiple brands or accounts?

Accepted Answer

Multiple brands are supported on the Enterprise plan, with custom engine tuning per brand and dedicated onboarding. If you're running a single brand with multiple social accounts (e.g., two Instagram accounts), contact support to discuss your setup.
